The Project
The Berlinisches Sinfonieorchester e.V. is an independent symphonic ensemble established in Berlin, uniting artistic vigor, social transformation, and international musical heritage.
Reimagining Symphonic Art in the Heart of Berlin
Berlin stands as one of the world's preeminent capitals of orchestral tradition. Within this vibrant ecosystem, the Berlinisches Sinfonieorchester was founded with a definitive mission: to create an agile, passionate, and inclusive symphonic platform capable of bridging deep classical heritage with contemporary cultural life.
Rooted in the pedagogical and social ethos of El Sistema, our ensemble believes that an orchestra is not merely a performance vehicle, but a micro-society driven by solidarity, rigorous discipline, and shared artistic pursuit.
«An orchestra is an active laboratory of human unity, where individual voices transcend their limits to forge an elevated collective harmony.»
Foundations of Our Work
Artistic Excellence
We approach standard masterworks—from Beethoven and Brahms to Dvořák—with fresh interpretive energy, while actively championing film scores, modern repertoire, and cross-genre commissions.
Professional Platform
We serve as a vital bridge between high-level conservatory training and the demanding professional orchestra circuit, offering exceptional emerging musicians high-profile stage experience.
